FEED:

Mornings:
local dairy grade alfalfa
orchard grass
Thorvin Kelp*, mixed with olive oil and served with milk stand ration
Fir Meadow's Kop-Sel, mixed with olive oil and served with milk stand ration
Fir Meadow's God's Greens, mixed with olive oil and served with milk stand ration
Fir Meadow's Milk Maid, for lactating does mixed with olive oil and served with milk stand ration

Evenings:
Chaffhaye, molasses misted alfalfa - fermented
All herbals mentioned in morning feeding above

Free Choice:
water with apple cider vinegar*

When possible, we take the goats out for a walk to browse on weeds, grasses, shrubs, etc. As we learn more about the native plants on our property and those that are safe for goats, we will increase this type of program with our caprines.

RATIONS:

Each goat receives 1/2 - 2/3 C. of mixed ration on the stand while milking, two times daily.

1 part equal amounts of grain...
